Hello,
I have a complianace issue in regards to Physician signatures. I am being told that the Physician on call during the weekends, in order to stay within the required amount of 48 hours for counter signatures, times, and dates can, (rehabilitation hospital), sign off on patient's chart for whom he/she is not the primary doctor. Is this correct?
