I have a case in which my Breast Surgeon's pt came back w/in the postoperative period for additional excisions of positive margins for Phyllodes Tumor. The interesting part is that the tumor is benign but because of their ability to grow rapidly, the pt is brought back for additional resection. Some of my collegues suggest sticking w/19120 - 58 however, I am at odds and believe that 19301 -58 would fit best, it is related to the previous procedure and additional margin resections are necessitated to prevent further growth. Can someone please help me and explain which coding path works & why?
