Billing from J6 MAC area and wanting to know if physical status modifiers are required on Medicare B claims as have gotten conflicting information (yes you should/no you shouldn't) on how to code and becoming very frustrated. :confused:

Have you looked on their website, maybe under manuals or billing help? I haven't seen their website so I'm not sure where to tell you to look. I know the main CMS website has an area for anesthesia but I am not sure what your carrier allows.
