Our ASC is going to start doing THA soon. When the Total Hip arthoplasty is done at the hospital a therapist comes in and ensures the patient can safely ambulate and ambulate up and down a set of stairs prior to being discharged home. We verified our therapist must have Privilege in the ASC, but were not sure what codes this would fall under? Would it be Gait Training, 97116 or some other CPT code?
