Although I am no PT expert, based on the considerable amount of coding I've done for it, I disagree with your Phys. Ther.

Ingenix, of course, has an entire text devoted to PT. I've never used it, but have read exerpts. The most informative thing(s) I've read on PT came from CMS: a claims processing commentary, program integrity piece and the general rules related to billing and POC signatures, ordering physician info and remarks on the diagnostic coding.

Just search the website and you'll probably find quite a bit.
