Is there anybody that can help with Kinesotaping? We have a physical therapy department that does Kinesotaping on our patients. How many pieces of tape can you bill for at a time? For example our one PTA takes each piece of tape and times it by up to sometimes
x16. Is that allowed? Any help, website links, and information would be awesome!!! :) Thank you!!!!
 
i dont know about other areas, but in NJ, it's billed as the casting and strapping codes (29200, 29240, 29799, etc.). I work for a 3rd party vendor for auto insurance companies and we see that all the time coming through our bill review dept. on the PIP claims. hope this helps.

Do you get reimbursed by PIP/Auto insurance? If so, how much do they pay for procedure. Our Therapist wants to incorporate this modality and I am doing a research on reimbursement before we make an investment of certification. Thanks in advance!
