Does the total timed treatment apply to Worker's Comp as well? I had a therapist tell me that since the patient was WC the total timed treatment (for the timed CPT codes only) does not apply, as long as each individual therapy was over the 8 min rule then we could bill for it. I do not agree. But when trying to research to find something that says WC goes by the total timed, I ran out of luck. I can only find documentation that states Medicare guidelines. Any help or thoughts??
