Cpt 64550- Application Of Surface (transcutaneous) Neurostimulator

If So, How Is It Applied.
 
Hi Daniel,

We do perform this service. The provider places electrode pads over the area to be stimulated and connects a transmitter box to the electrodes (ex. TENS unit). Current is transmitted through the skin to sensory fibers which helps decrease the pain sensation along the nerve distribution. Does this help?
