Can some one please advise if a physician assistant has to be billed as incident to or can they be billed under themselves?

It true.y depends an several things. If the visit meets incident to definition, has the PA been credentialed with the carrier, is this an established patient. The answers to these and other questions will decide whether is cam be billed as incident to or if you must use the PA NPI

thank you for your help . The PA will be credentialed with insurance carriers and it could be both established and possible new patients that need to be worked in
