We recently hired a physician assistant to our practice.

The physician assistant wants to bill a E/M new patient visit, patient presenting with new complaint, but the patient is an established patient of the doctor.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he has to bill the established E/M code for this patient since they have been seen before by the doctor who he is now working for.
