I thought I had read somewhere that if a patient comes in to the office and wants their blood pressure checked that if the reading is high we are obligated to keep them and let them see the doctor. If the reading is high and we let them leave and something happens to them then we could be in some way responsible. Does anyone else know anything about this? Help!:confused:
