I am looking for anyone who is willing to speak with me personally to share their current set up for Physician practice based coders. I am specifically looking for job descriptions, job responsibilities and pay ranges and the reporting structure (if it pertains to an multi speciality or facility based organization). We are in the process of integrating our medical group coders into hospital based staffing and the hospital currently only has this informtion for HIM/Inpatient coders. I need supporting documentation to my current structure and pay ranges.
