Does anyone else ever bill for cpt code 96365 for a drug infusion? I guess it's a hospital only code and the hospital gets reimbursed for it but our physician books it, supervises it, monitors and interprets the EKG's, and dictates the final report. Is there a code to use to bill for his services during the infusion or would you appeal the denial for 96365? I wasn't sure if we should be using an E & M code for his time or if it's considered bundled into 96365.
