Greetings! Can anyone assist on the coding/billing guidelines regarding the allowed time limit to bill initial physiotherapy codes(97161-97163), its related to presenting condition/disease or any restricted timeframe(every one year or three year, etc). For example, if a patient got treated by a therapist for low back pain, 3months before, now patient presented with neck pain, this current therapy session to be billed as initial or re-evaluation,97161 or 97164. Thanks in advance.
