I have the following report with me.Picc line was placed in this patient 3 days before the following procedure.Can we use 36593 as the CPT?

"Under sterile technique an .018 wire was inserted through the
existing right-sided PICC catheter. It was then flushed with
ease"

If a thrombolytic agent was used to dissolve the clot, then yes that would be the appropriate code.
