Place of service "09" Prison/correctional facility

Does anyone out there bill for a physician that evaluates and treats patients/inmates in a jail or correctional facility?

I am trying to determine whether the E&M codes of 99201-99205 and 99211-99215 (for new and established patient's, respectively) are correctly reported/billed in the place of service 09 for "Prision/correctional facility." I believe that they are billable in this place of service, but would appreciate guidance from anyone who has ever billed these with success.

Your assistance and ideas on this topic will be most appreciated.

Thanks,
JS
