Question regarding POS: DME only.
Care Source is stating that DME is POS 11, Medicare is POS 12. My supervisor is convinced that a boot bill out of the office and handed to patient at office is a 12 (Home).
Care Oregon states that out of office DME is POS 11; and from a vendor it is 12 mailed to home. Can you assist with this clarification.
Which is correct, can it be determined by carrier?
