We have a provider that delivered the baby at the office and then sent the patient to the hospital and delivered the placenta there. What would be the best way to bill for this? Would the place of service be office or hospital?

I agree, the delivery, which constitutes the biggest part of the service was performed in the office and if they are billing globally, the office should be the place of service.
