I work at a mental health facility and we use POS 54 (99307 etc) for both psych and medical notes.
Sometimes our patents see specialist (podiatry, ob/gyn, cardiologist) at our clinics. These clinics are held in the same area where are Patients are housed(the secure treament area) in another words, they do not leave the grounds of our hospital for these clinic visits. What is the correct POS code? 54 or 22?
