My Dr sees a patient at the nursng home 99309 and draws labs 36415, 85025 and 82947.
Place of service for the NH is the nursing home. What place of service do I put for the rest of the codes? Dr. brings blood back to office to process the labs. I need to know the place of service. Please help this is driving me crazy and Medicare can't help me. Thank you.
 
no it is not an 11 per a recent transmittal from CMS the POS used is the POS of where the patient is admitted not where the test is read or performed. So in this case the POS is still the NH
