Dr. did lap hemigastrectomy with RNY B-II reconstruction and placement of G-tube. Can I bill for g-tube and what code would I use? All the placement codes are with fluro guidance?
 
There actually is a laparoscopic gastrostomy (Stamm-type) code, 43653, but like its open counterpart, 43830, it's a designated "separate procedure" and would be bundled with any type of gastrectomy. I would say not billable.
