One of the surgeons I work with biopsy, muscle, percutaneous needle with ultrasonic guidance. He then placed a metal locatlization clip. He wants to use the 19295 which is specific to the breast. The mass was located in the scapular region. Does anyone know of another code? I have not been able to find one.

Look at 76942. You would have to use a 26 Modifier on the Radiologic Code. The code states Ultrasonic guidance for Needle Placement (eg. Biopsy, Aspiration, Injection, Localization Device). Do you think this might work?:)
