Can anyone recommend a company or individual who can code Plastic Surgery? We doing about 10-15 claims per week. We'll print out the doctors notes and superbill we just need to have it coded accurately so we can submit the claim through our PM system.

Greetings,

I may be able to assist.
I am a certified general surgery coder; most of the plastic surgery coding I have done is related to breast surgery reconstruction following mastectomy. Other types of plastic surgery where I have experience is in the Z-plasty closures that my general surgeons do. I have done a lot of work in ICD-9-PCS when I worked at a children's hospital that had a facial reconstruction surgeon on staff. That gave me a good background for the language of plastic & reconstructive surgery.
