Can anyone tell me what the correct CPT code is for platelet rich plasma that will be drawn from the patient, centrifuged and then smeared on an ulcer. This will be done in an office by a DO. There will not be any other procedure done. I know the correct code for prp injection is 0232T but I am not sure if the same code applies to smearing it on a wound since it will not actually be injected back into the patient. I have posted in other forums here and have not had any replies. Thanks for any help you can give me.
