why is 29876 not billable?
You can bill it and drop the chondroplasty. AAOS and NCCI do not bundle 29881 and 29876 however some payers will not pay for the synovectomy and they will pay the G code. At least that is what I have seen in my practice. And from reading the op report the doctors description of the chondroplasty is a lot better then the synovectomy. Any other thoughts?
