Looking for Correct DX Code for the following: Acanthosis &
Hyperkeratosis of the back Pt had an E&M 99213 and for the
Dx Code I billed out 701.1 Medicare will not pay saying that the
DX code is a foot code (Screening) and is not covered.
So would I use the 702.8 other dermatoses Any help would be
appreciated
