Hello, please help with the procedure CPT.
Medicare pt, lesion on forehead, PCP did biopsy and then destruction of same lesion using silver nitrate. No measurements taken. Pathology showed basal cell carcinoma.
CPTs used were 11102 and 17110.
I know that biopsy codes cannot be added with excision/destruction codes because it is inclusive. I am thinking 17280, because no measurements noted; and on the face, but I am not very sure of the other requirements for this code.
Can someone please explain with rationale which one is the correct procedure CPT? Any resources on how to report the 10000 series codes would be of great help too. I am new coder, and find skin biopsies and excicion codes very confusing.

TIA
