Hello! Does anyone know if there is a code or a modifier that can be used to indicate that a patient was urgently worked in and took time away from other scheduled patients?

Thanks!

I would say "No" they were just considered a walk-in. But i could be wrong. We bill these patients as all others. They are just considered add-on's or walk-in's.

99058

Look at 99058 to see if that describes the service provided.

This may NOT be payable by most carriers, so be sure you have an ABN.
