Please help...
My doctors have a disagreement about this situation... Dr A was on a case and he did a spinal epidural on a patient. Dr A left and Dr B finished the case. But when Dr B came in the spinal was not working anymore. So he had to re-do (reinsert and restart) the spinal for the patient. The Patient then goes on to deliver C/S. Dr B feels he should be able to bill for the 01967. But Dr A does not agree. What do you think? Thank you!

We had this recently happen and our Dr. B went ahead and billed and we just let the Dr. A visit go as a no charge. I'm still new at this, so I'm not sure if you could capture what Dr. A did even with a modifier, but like I said, I'm still very new at anesthesia.
