Provider performed 64450 injection on 8 areas on each side (RT & LT). I submitted this claim to Medicare with 50 modifier and 16 units (since it is 8 areas on each side) but they denied
stating Payment adjusted because the payer deems the information submitted does not support this many/frequency of services. So should I bill 8 units with 50 modifier but will they pay for all the 16 units.? |
