We are having a debate which would be the proper coding for a stress test. All help is apperciated. Pt has stress test at hospital, Dr is present at test and then does the interpetation and report.
Should that be billed as 93016 and 93018 or as 93015 with a 26 modifier?

If it's being done at the hospital then you'd use 93016/93018. 93015 is the global code, including TC and 26 components.

Our physicians schedule these in the hospital all the time but we can only bill for the Professional component since we don't own the equipment, the hospital does.
