Hello. I am a Home Health Coder and we are seeing a big uptick in caring for Pleurex Catheters for Pleural Effusions. It looks like it should be coded as a surgical wound and then Z46.82 attention to non-vascular catheter. Our SN does empty the drain but we dont remove it or change it. Does anyone have an additional information on this? Thanks
