Hi All!
I have a contract with a cloud based Practice Mgmt company (I don't want to mention the company just yet just in case). I am a medical billing company. I have 3 doctor practices that I bill for. It has come to my attention that the software co I use has been calling my docs trying to sell THEIR billing services as well as other services they offer. I have called the Co and stated that they should not be reaching out to my clients. It is my feeling the only reason they have these practices info is that they are going into my data to get their info. In my opinion that is a HIPAA violation. They have assured me that it won't happen again. Well, as of last week it has. Any opinions on how I should proceed with this. Am I correct in thinking this is a privacy violation?

Thank you in advance for any and all input!
