podiatry - Can a podiatrist bill

Can a podiatrist bill for the interpretation of an angiography, for the purpose of treating chronic wounds caused by PVD?

I wouldn't think that would be within their scope of practice. It's not anything any of my podiatrists have tried to bill for.

Why wouldn't the interpretation be billed by the performing physician?

podiatry

the angiography interpretation is part of the LUNA Fluorescence Angiography System which enables clinicians treating chronic wounds caused by PVD to more reliably distinguish between perfused and non-perfused tissue during the monitoring and treatment of diabetice foot ulcers, pressure sores and of other serious wounds , they are the performing and/or treating physician.

Thank you for your response !!!
