I have just started a job in a multi-specialty group that includes a podiatrist. I am looking for any information on the coding pairs of 11719 and 11720. If a patient only has 3 "yucky" (for lack of a better technical word) toenails is the podiatrist supposed to only trim and clean the 3, or can he/she continue to trim the entire set and bill a 11719 for the remaining 7 toes that do not have a problem. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
