When using a locums for podiatry services, is it just adding the modifier Q6 to the services? Is there anything else special that has to be added (or known?)?

We use a Q6 I also make a note of who the doctor is, you dont have to do this. It helps our insurance collection dept. for instance pt calls stating they did not see that doctor.
