Hi folks need a little help here. Dr documented Hyperplastic Rectal Polyp he read the colonoscopy what is the correct code for that ? Cannot find it is the ICD 9 book. Thanks a lot.

If you look under polyp-rectum you will see two codes...one is for nonadenomatous 569.0 and the other is for adenomatous 211.4. I would code this as 569.0

Thanks a lot for your help. So is the hyperplastic considered non adenomatous?
