I have been asked to see if there is a code for "polypharmacy", and have not found one.
Just wondering if anyone can help me with this.
Per the medical dictionary this term means -the mixing of many drugs in one pharmacy, but it also says /see shotgun prescription.
And shotgun prescription says-the mixing of many ingredients, of which some may be inert, in an attempt to to cover all possible types of therapy.
Is there a specific code or v-code that might be out there that I am just not findng anyone knows about ?
