To my Coding Experts Out There:
In order to bill 95810 & 95811, there has to be continuous & simultaneous monitoring & recording of varous physiolgocal & pathophysiological parameters of sleep for 6 or more hours.
So, after reviewing the report I'm confused as how I should calculate the hours. For instance there is:
Time in Bed: 7.2 hours
Total Sleep Time: 5.8 hours
Sleep Period Time: 6.9 hours
The physician documented: Patient slept for a total of 5.8 hours ....
The report above showed otherwise. Which time element should I use for this review?
