We have Mid Level provider within our practice that has this specific question. wondering if anyone can provide some insight?

I have a portable EKG device that I use to do EKG's for patients that are on medications that require cardiac monitoring. Can I bill for this?

Yes. You can bill for this. The approach I used was billing a 99211 for the placement of the device and instructions for the patient on the use. Once the device is returned, typically after the 72 hour monitoring, I would bill for the monitoring and reading. Most insurances covered this with appropriate Dx codes.
