Our Cardiologist purchased a portable us device to take to the hospital and do limited echos on some of his patients. I use the CPT code of 93308 (echo, transthoracic, limited) but since it is his device he brings in I am unsure of what modifiers to attach to this claim. If anyone has an answer, I could sure use it.
