Billing commercial insurance carriers for SNF charges. Do we still use the pos 31 or 32 if non-medicare. How do the commercial carriers get paid?
My opinion is that you need to use the correct POS no matter what insurance is being billed. Not sure how the SNF reimbursement works for non-medicare payors.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
