Hello! I am needing help, my provider is needing to do surgery on a patient who has an infection in the preauricular area that we have cleaned and drained multiple times., the patient had a face lift years ago. My provider wants to do an exploration of the facial "wound" to verify if the patient has a retained suture or what is causing the infection/wound. I am having trouble with what what CPT code to use for this. Thank you so much!
