Patient was seen in ER for concussion with loss of consciousness after exercise related fall. MRI, CT, CXR all w/ normal findings. 2 days later had follow up with PCP without any complaints and was advised take it easy for few days.
Which diagnosis would be correct to use? S06.0X9D-Concussion with loss of consciousness of unspecified duration subsequent encounter. Since patient doesn’t have these symptoms anymore is it correct to use this code for follow up care?
