Does anyone know the correct way to code these visits? If the patient is a surgery as a result of trauma--and the locum (employed by the hospital) performs the actual surgery, then the patient is seen post-operatively by my Dr. (who was on trauma call when the locum performed the surgery) -- what codes should be used to bill these post op visits?
