There is a WC case DOI was 1997 knee ankle sprain. PT receiving pain tx for last xx years.
This year, her orthopedic(new to this case) diagnosed 8449 and 84509.
However her icd-9- were 3318 3328 3558 7291 for all these past years. pain from surgery in 1997. Pt 's pain aggravated, it is chronic but also acute pain due to the post surgery. We feel 8449 or 84509 are acute and not suitable to this condition. ???
any advice, appreciated.
