Patient was emergency admit to the hospital and my provider did the H & P and discharge. The patient had a follow-up visit here with the pcp and will see the surgeon in about a week. My question is, do I use a 55 modifier for our visit since we did not do the surgery? I should know this but my mind is a blank. Thanks for your help.
