My group recently purchased a surgical practice. What would be the correct way to bill for post-op visits for the patients who had surgery performed under the original practice (one Tax ID), but are now being seen for post op care by the same surgeon under the new Tax ID? There are not alot of patients which fall into this category, but I want to bill them correctly. Thank you!

I would say if they are in the global period, they would not be billable. (99024)
It is still the same physician even though they are in a new practice.
