I have a doctor who is wanting to have her nurse do the post op visits with her patients. Does anyone else have this in their practice?
 
Most of our post ops visits are scheduled on a separate nurses schedule where there nurse performs the majority of the care (suture removal, bandage change, etc.). Our physician is still on site and available to (and usually does) see these patients as they come in.
