My Neurosurgeon seen a patient during her 10 day global period. What if the patient discusses she decides to proceed with permanent implant? Would this visit still be an post op or would it turn to OV?
 
IF the work & documentation provided demonstrate a distinct visit separate from postop care, then yes. Just don't count the services that were postop when you are coding.
